Forge fell 4-1 to Tigres in Mexico, ending their Champions Cup participation.
Rodrigo Aguirre (2), Ángel Correa, and Joaquim converted for the hosts, while Brian Wright pulled one back for the Canadian Premier League side from the penalty spot.
Forge made one change from the XI that drew 0-0 in leg one. Dimitry Bertaud started in goal behind Marko Jevremovic, Dan Nimick, and Antoine Batisse. Ben Paton and Rezart Rama operated as wingbacks, while Kyle Bekker and Anthony Aromatario completed the midfield. Tristan Borges, Hoce Massunda, and Ismael Oketo played up front, with Borges deployed as the false nine.
It was never going to be easy for the Hammers, who were dominated from the first minute.
Rodrigo Aguirre opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a free header from a set-piece, an area Forge have historically struggled to defend.

The visitors barely saw the ball in the second half, waiting for Tigres to make a mistake in midfield and hoping for a quick counter that never came. Hoce Massunda forced a save from Nahuel Guzmán with a speculative effort.
Forge were handed a lifeline in the 80th minute when a VAR check awarded them a penalty, converted by Brian Wright.
That hope didn't last long, though, as Forge conceded a third through Ángel Correa to restore the two-goal cushion. Minutes later, Tigres added another from a set-piece, with Joaquim Henrique left completely unmarked inside the box for an easy volley.
"In football, it's simple. When you get yourself back into the game to one [goal], you can't give up a goal 60 seconds later." Bobby Smyrniotis told the press after the match.
